- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Once the cake is cool, frost it with whipped cream and decorate as desired.
