Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line your baking pan.
  2. Melt dark chocolate and butter in a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  3. Whisk together melted chocolate mixture and sugar, then add eggs one at a time.
  4. Sift and fold all-purpose flour into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Cool brownies completely on a wire rack before adding mousse.
  7. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold in melted dark chocolate.
  8. Spread the mousse evenly over the cooled brownies and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  9. Cut brownies into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
