Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In the greased baking dish, combine the Alfredo sauce, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, kosher salt, onion powder, black pepper, and crushed red pepper. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add the uncooked penne pasta, shredded chicken, and chopped broccoli to the sauce mixture. Mix gently until everything is well-coated.
  4. Add the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses to the mixture, folding them in until evenly distributed.
  5. Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove the foil, stir gently, and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top. Bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  7. Allow the casserole to rest for 10 minutes before serving warm.
