Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 pound Chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup Teriyaki sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil toasted recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 3 cloves Minced garlic fresh recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Minced ginger fresh recommended
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt to taste
For the Slaw
  • 1 cup Shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 cup Shredded green cabbage
  • 1/2 cup Shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup Chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar rice vinegar recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Honey to balance tang
For the Wontons
  • 1 package Wonton wrappers or substitute with egg roll wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking spray
For Garnishing
  • to taste Sweet chili sauce optional
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1/4 cup Chopped cilantro for garnish
  • 1 each Lime wedges for serving

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add chicken, sesame oil, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and salt. Cook for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Prep Wontons: Cut wonton wrappers into strips and place them in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking oil.
  3. Air Fry Wontons: Set air fryer to 350°F and cook wonton strips for 4-5 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown.
  4. Make Slaw: Combine shredded cabbages, carrots, and green onions in a bowl. Mix dressing of sesame oil, vinegar, soy sauce, honey, minced ginger, and garlic. Toss veggies with dressing.
  5. Assemble Bowls: Divide slaw among bowls, top with teriyaki chicken and wonton strips.
  6. Garnish: Finish with sesame seeds, green onions, cilantro, sweet chili sauce, and lime wedges. Serve immediately.
