Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, dill, mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a gentle boil. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Stir occasionally.
  3. Transfer cooked shrimp to an ice bath to stop the cooking process for about 3 minutes. Drain and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  4. In a large bowl, combine shrimp, diced cucumbers, and green onions. Drizzle with the chilled dressing and fold gently to combine.
  5. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving for enhanced flavors.
