Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
- Melt 1-2 tablespoons of butter or oil in the heated griddle. Sauté the sliced onion, red bell pepper, and poblano pepper for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Spread the shaved ribeye or sirloin across the griddle in a single layer. Sear undisturbed for 1-2 minutes then season with salt and pepper, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle Trybachan’s Original Sauce over the cooked beef and mix thoroughly, cooking for an additional minute.
- Return the sautéed vegetables to the beef and top each portion with provolone and smoked Gouda cheese. Cover to melt cheese for about 30 seconds.
- Butter the hoagie rolls and toast them cut-side down on the griddle for 30-60 seconds until golden brown.
- Assemble the cheesesteak by loading each toasted hoagie roll with beef and vegetable mixture, serving hot.
