Cooking Steps

  2. Add the skinless chicken thigh fillet to the marinade, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Cover tightly and let marinate for at least one hour.
  3. Transfer the chicken along with the marinade to a skillet and add one cup of water. Heat over medium-high and bring to a gentle simmer, cooking for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Drizzle oil into the skillet and continue cooking over medium heat, turning occasionally until the chicken is lightly charred and caramelized, about 5 to 10 minutes.
