Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the white fish fillets by patting them dry and drizzling with low sodium soy sauce and half of the julienned ginger.
  2. Julienne the carrot and place it alongside the fish on a heatproof plate.
  3. Fill a large pot or steamer with water and bring to a rapid boil, then reduce to maintain steam.
  4. Carefully place the plate with fish and vegetables inside the steamer and cover. Steam for 6-10 minutes.
  5. Prepare the topping with the remaining ginger, green onion whites, cilantro, and optional red chili in a bowl.
  6. Whisk together the ginger-soy drizzle ingredients in another bowl until fully combined.
  7. Once cooking is complete, remove the plates and top the fish with the aromatic mixture. Drizzle hot neutral oil over the top.
  8. Serve by plating the fish with the drizzle around it, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
