Step-by-Step Instructions for Spring Blossom Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unwrap the Hershey Kisses and set them aside in a small bowl.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar and softened butter, beat until creamy and fluffy. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mix until well incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking soda. Gradually add this to your creamy base, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
  5. Shape the dough into roughly 1-inch balls, roll in bright colored sanding sugar, and place on the prepared baking sheet.
