  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 4 cups Broccoli Florets fresh or frozen
For the Sauce
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce optional
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar or maple syrup
  • ½ cup Beef Broth or water
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch optional
For Seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil optional
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Ginger optional
For Serving
  • 4 servings Cooked Rice or Quinoa or cauliflower rice for low-carb

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart, for 5–7 minutes until no longer pink.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté for 3–4 minutes until translucent.
  4. Add broccoli florets, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth, stir to combine.
  5. Simmer covered for 5–7 minutes until broccoli is tender but vibrant green.
  6. Optional: Mix cornstarch with water and stir into skillet, simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  7. Remove from heat, add sesame oil and ginger, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve over cooked rice or quinoa, optionally top with sesame seeds or chopped green onions.
