- In a mixing bowl, combine thinly sliced flank steak with soy sauce and cornstarch. Stir well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add a splash of vegetable oil. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and stir-fry sliced onion and bell pepper for 3-5 minutes until tender.
- Add freshly minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir for about 1 minute.
- Return the beef to the skillet, pour in beef broth and oyster sauce, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle sesame oil, add salt and pepper, then toss together before serving. Garnish with green onions.
