Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. Activate the yeast by dissolving sugar in warm water and adding yeast. Let sit until frothy.
  2. Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Add olive oil and yeast mixture to form a shaggy dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Grease a bowl with olive oil, place the dough in it, cover, and let rise until doubled.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide into two balls for two pizzas.
Topping Preparation
  1. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned. Remove excess grease.
  2. Sauté sliced onions in the same skillet until tender, then add minced garlic.
  3. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  4. Roll out one dough ball into a 12-inch circle.
