Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Paprikash
  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of vegan butter in a large skillet over medium heat until it's bubbling gently.
  2. Add 1 cup of vegan chicken pieces and season with 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika. Cook for about 5 minutes until golden.
  3. Introduce 1 diced onion, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 chopped bell pepper. Sauté for 3 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Pour in 14 oz of diced tomatoes and stir in 1/2 cup of vegan sour cream. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with reserved chicken pieces, over pasta or rice.
