Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Start by cutting the block of paneer into thick slices. Generously sprinkle salt and red chili powder on all sides and marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add oil. Once hot, toss in cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté for 7-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Introduce ginger-garlic paste to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the pureed tomatoes and stir well. Add turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, and additional red chili powder. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Gradually add water to adjust the gravy's consistency, then add marinated paneer. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped cilantro and serve hot with naan, basmati rice, or parathas.
