Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar on medium speed for about 3–5 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Add room temperature eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition for 30 seconds.
- Sift matcha powder, baking powder, and all-purpose flour over the wet mixture and gently fold in using a spatula.
- Pour in the milk and vanilla extract, folding gently until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
