Ingredients

For the Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup butter softened, high-quality
  • 1 cup brown sugar adds moisture and caramel flavor
  • 1/2 cup white sugar contributes sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract pure
  • 2 cups flour all-purpose
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips chocolatey bursts
  • 24 pieces Hershey Kisses unwrapped

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • hand mixer
  • baking sheet
  • spatula

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the butter mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips using a spatula.
  5. Take your unwrapped Hershey Kisses and set them aside. Scoop out small amounts of cookie dough and flatten slightly, placing a Hershey Kiss in the center and wrapping the dough around it.
  6. Place the dough balls on a prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  8. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
