- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta with marinara sauce and half of both the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.
- Add the sautéed chicken mixture to the pasta and sauce bowl, and fold everything together.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil, and spread the chicken and pasta mixture evenly in the dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses over the casserole and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped basil or parsley before serving.
