Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chicken with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta with marinara sauce and half of both the Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses.
  4. Add the sautéed chicken mixture to the pasta and sauce bowl, and fold everything together.
  5. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil, and spread the chicken and pasta mixture evenly in the dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses over the casserole and cover with aluminum foil.
  7. Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped basil or parsley before serving.
