Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of bread flour, 2 teaspoons of instant yeast, and 2 teaspoons of salt. Gradually pour in 1 and 3/4 cups of lukewarm water, stirring until a wet, sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl tightly and set it in a warm area for about 2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
- Every 30 minutes during the first rise, wet your fingers and stretch the dough from one side, then fold it over itself.
- Once risen, transfer the dough onto a floured surface and shape it into two loaves or eight rolls.
- Place the shaped pieces on a floured towel for about 30 minutes to rise again.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
- Transfer the risen loaves onto the baking sheet and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack for at least 20 minutes before slicing.

Notes
For optimal results, monitor the dough during rising and ensure to use enough flour to prevent sticking during shaping.
