- Place radishes in a large pot of salted boiling water and cook for about 15 minutes until tender.
- Carefully drain radishes and cool slightly. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and smash each radish with a fork.
- Drizzle smashed radishes with melted butter or olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper. Add Parmesan if using.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and roast the radishes for 20–25 minutes until edges are golden and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm. Optional: top with a runny egg.
