- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ginger, soy sauce, and pineapple juice. Mix gently and shape into thick patties with a slight indentation.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400°F (200°C). Prepare pineapple and onion slices for grilling.
- Grill pineapple and onion slices for about 3 minutes until caramelized.
- Increase grill heat to high, cook the burger patties for 3 minutes per side, adding cheese during the last minute.
- Remove patties and cover loosely with foil for 5 minutes to rest.
- Assemble the burgers with mayo on buns, adding burger patties, grilled onions, and pineapple slices.
