Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by boiling ¾ cup of water in a saucepan. Once boiling, add the red and orange Jello packets, stirring until dissolved—this should take about 2 minutes.
  2. Next, mix in ¾ cup of cold water. Pour the mixture into a suitable dish and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until it is completely firm.
  3. While the Jello sets, wash and slice fresh strawberries into bite-sized pieces and drain the canned peaches and mandarins thoroughly.
  4. Grate ½ cup of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Once the Jello is fully set, remove it from the refrigerator and cut it into ½ inch cubes.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Jello cubes with the prepared strawberries, mandarins, and peaches.
  7. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until all the fruits and Jello are evenly coated.
  8. To present your Jello Fruit Salad beautifully, spoon the mixture into a clear glass bowl or individual cups.
  9. Serve immediately or chill for a brief moment.
