Preparation Steps
- Begin by boiling ¾ cup of water in a saucepan. Once boiling, add the red and orange Jello packets, stirring until dissolved—this should take about 2 minutes.
- Next, mix in ¾ cup of cold water. Pour the mixture into a suitable dish and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until it is completely firm.
- While the Jello sets, wash and slice fresh strawberries into bite-sized pieces and drain the canned peaches and mandarins thoroughly.
- Grate ½ cup of mozzarella cheese.
- Once the Jello is fully set, remove it from the refrigerator and cut it into ½ inch cubes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Jello cubes with the prepared strawberries, mandarins, and peaches.
- Gently fold in the Cool Whip until all the fruits and Jello are evenly coated.
- To present your Jello Fruit Salad beautifully, spoon the mixture into a clear glass bowl or individual cups.
