Begin by measuring 6 cups of Chex cereal into a spacious mixing bowl. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of chocolate chips, ½ cup of peanut butter, and 2 tablespoons of butter. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then return to microwave if needed.

Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor profile.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal and gently fold until every piece is coated.

Transfer to a ziplock bag, add 1½ cups of confectioners' sugar, seal, and shake until well-coated.
