Macaron Preparation
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
- Whisk together almond flour, confectioners’ sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Sift the mixture.
- Whip aged egg whites until foamy, gradually adding granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the whipped egg whites until smooth.
- Pipe uniform circles onto prepared baking sheets and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until firm to touch, then cool completely before removing.
