Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Brown the butter by cooking it in a medium saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
  2. Mix the cooled browned butter with granulated and dark brown sugar until smooth.

  5. Fold in chopped chocolate and toffee bits until evenly mixed, then refrigerate the dough.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  7. Scoop dough onto the prepared sheets, leaving space between each.
  8. Bake for 12–14 minutes, until edges are golden, and cool on racks.
