Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Spread a generous layer of mixed berry preserves on the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Mix melted butter with vanilla extract and brush it over the preserves.
  5. Slice the pastry into 8 equal strips and twist each strip several times.
  6. Place the twisted strips on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle sugar on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and then cool for 5 minutes before serving.
