Method

Step-by-Step Instructions for Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte
  1. Begin by slicing fresh strawberries and placing them in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with vanilla syrup, then gently toss the strawberries to coat evenly. Allow them to macerate for about 10-15 minutes at room temperature to release their juices and enhance the flavors.
  2. While the strawberries macerate, sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a small bowl. Carefully pour in approximately 1/4 cup of hot water and whisk until frothy and green.
  3. In a blender, combine the macerated strawberries with a splash of vanilla syrup, heavy cream, and your choice of milk. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  4. Grab a tall glass and fill it with ice cubes. Pour in the milk first, then slowly pour the prepared matcha tea over the milk to create distinct layers. Spoon the strawberry sweet cream on top.
  5. Dust the top with matcha powder and garnish with fresh strawberries. Serve immediately with a straw.
