  • ½ tsp Kosher Salt Sea salt can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Can be omitted if using fresh garlic.
  • ¼ tsp Onion Powder Can be skipped or replaced with fresh onions.
  • ¼ tsp Chili Powder Adjust based on personal heat preference.
For Cooking
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil Any neutral oil can be substituted.

Equipment

  • skillet

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by patting the salmon dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Then, sprinkle both sides evenly with kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder. Let the seasoned salmon rest while you prepare the sauce.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the honey, sriracha, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic. Whisk until well combined and smooth. Set the bowl aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the coconut oil. Once the oil is shimmering, carefully place the salmon skin-side down. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the salmon over, pour the prepared sauce into the skillet, and spoon the sauce over the salmon as it cooks. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Transfer the salmon bites to a serving plate. Drizzle any remaining sauce over them for extra flavor. Serve warm with sides like rice, salad, or veggies.
