- Start by brewing a strong cup of coffee, then let it cool completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- In a blender, combine 1 cup of cooled brewed coffee, 1 cup of cold milk, 1/4 cup of caramel syrup, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth.
- Add 2 cups of ice to the blender and blend on high for another 30-45 seconds until thick and frothy.
- Taste the frappe and see if it meets your sweetness preference. Adjust with more caramel syrup or sugar as desired, blending briefly again.
- Pour the mixture into tall glasses and top with whipped cream and extra caramel syrup before serving.
