Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by brewing a strong cup of coffee, then let it cool completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a blender, combine 1 cup of cooled brewed coffee, 1 cup of cold milk, 1/4 cup of caramel syrup, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Add 2 cups of ice to the blender and blend on high for another 30-45 seconds until thick and frothy.
  4. Taste the frappe and see if it meets your sweetness preference. Adjust with more caramel syrup or sugar as desired, blending briefly again.
  5. Pour the mixture into tall glasses and top with whipped cream and extra caramel syrup before serving.
