  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese can substitute mozzarella
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) or garlic powder if needed
For the Dough
  • 1 Biscuit or Pizza Dough or crescent roll dough for flakiness
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (melted) unsalted recommended
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese can substitute Pecorino Romano
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley (optional) for color and freshness

Equipment

  • skillet
  • baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • knife
  • Pizza Cutter
  • Small bowl

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink. Drain excess fat, add minced garlic and sauté for another minute. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then fold in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out biscuit or pizza dough and cut into 3-inch squares. If using crescent dough, lay flat and pinch seams together.
  3. Take a square of dough, place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center. Gather the corners of the dough and pinch to seal. Roll into a smooth ball.
  4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic and a pinch of salt. Brush the tops of the bombs with this mixture.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C), line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place bombs seam-side down, brush with garlic butter, sprinkle with Parmesan, and bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let the bombs cool slightly before serving. Pair with dipping sauces like ketchup or ranch.
