Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with colorful liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. Spoon the batter into the lined cupcake tin.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. Beat the butter for the frosting until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla.
  11. Divide the frosting for coloring and tint with gel food coloring.
  12. Pipe flower designs on the cooled cupcakes.
  13. Sprinkle edible glitter or colorful sprinkles on top.
