Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Sift together the dry ingredients.
  2. Chop the dark chocolate into small chunks.
  3. Cream the butter and sugars until fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until just blended.
  5. Incorporate the dry ingredients slowly. Do not overmix.
  6. Fold in the chopped chocolate and mini eggs.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 to 45 minutes.
  8. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Drop rounded portions of dough on the baking sheet and sprinkle flaked salt on top.
  10. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are set and centers are slightly underdone.
  11. Let the cookies rest on the baking sheet for about 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
