Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Pillows
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add chicken, chives, onion, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and press the perforations to form rectangles. Prepare four rectangles.
  4. Divide the chicken mixture evenly among the rectangles. Fold and seal the corners tightly.
  5. Dip each pillow in melted butter and roll in breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the pillows on the baking sheet and bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the gravy by mixing soup, gravy mix, and water in a saucepan. Boil, then simmer.
