Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut into 4 equal squares.
  3. Fold the corners of each pastry square towards the center to create borders and press lightly.
  4. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract, then blend until smooth.
  5. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese filling onto each pastry square and top with strawberry jam.
  6. Brush the edges with beaten egg wash for a golden finish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Prepare the second batch with the remaining puff pastry while the first batch bakes.
