- Begin by browning your ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until they're nicely browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Thinly slice your bell peppers and onion, aiming for uniform slices for even cooking.
- In your Crockpot, start layering the ingredients: add marinara sauce, followed by the cooked meat mixture, sliced vegetables, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Dollop the cream cheese over the top of the vegetables.
