  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives or 1 tbsp dried chives
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or 1/2 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano or 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
For Dipping
  • 1 cup tomato sauce preferably marinara

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or non-stick spray.
  2. Grate the zucchini and wring it out in a towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. Mix grated garlic and zucchini in a bowl.
  4. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, cheese, chives, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the mixture and combine well.
  5. Shape the mixture into balls or patties and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Serve warm with tomato sauce for dipping.
