  • 2 cloves Garlic fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin key flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander optional
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder for fluffiness
  • 2-3 tablespoons Chickpea Flour acts as binder

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Soak chickpeas in water for at least 24 hours.
  2. Blend soaked chickpeas, onion, parsley, cilantro, salt, garlic, cumin, and ground coriander in a food processor until grainy.
  3. Add chickpea flour and baking powder to the mixture, mix well, and let rest for a few minutes.
  4. Form the mixture into balls about the size of a heaping tablespoon and slightly flatten them.
  5. Chill the shaped falafel in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet until shimmering, around 350°F.
  7. Fry falafel in batches for about 30-60 seconds on each side until golden brown.
