Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix these ingredients well until evenly blended. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, crack open the eggs and whisk them until lightly beaten and frothy. Set the egg mixture aside.
- Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Lay each tender on a cutting board, ready for coating.
- Take each chicken tender and coat it first in the flour mixture, then dip it into the beaten egg, and return to the flour mixture for a double coating.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket.
- Lightly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and set the timer for 5 to 6 minutes.
- After 5 to 6 minutes, flip each tender using tongs and cook for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Transfer the cooked chicken tenders to a paper towel-lined plate. Sprinkle with salt to taste and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
