Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a shallow dish, combine all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix these ingredients well until evenly blended. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, crack open the eggs and whisk them until lightly beaten and frothy. Set the egg mixture aside.
  3. Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Lay each tender on a cutting board, ready for coating.
  4. Take each chicken tender and coat it first in the flour mixture, then dip it into the beaten egg, and return to the flour mixture for a double coating.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket.
  6. Lightly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and set the timer for 5 to 6 minutes.
  7. After 5 to 6 minutes, flip each tender using tongs and cook for an additional 5 to 6 minutes until golden brown and reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  8. Transfer the cooked chicken tenders to a paper towel-lined plate. Sprinkle with salt to taste and serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
