Cooking Instructions
  1. Begin by filling a large pot with water, adding a generous pinch of salt, and bringing it to a rapid boil over high heat.
  2. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook it according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes.
  3. After draining the spaghetti, return it to the pot over medium-low heat. Add unsalted butter and allow it to melt slowly.
  4. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic to the pot, stirring it gently for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Return the drained spaghetti to the pot with the garlic butter. Pour in the reserved pasta water and toss everything together.
  6. Sprinkle the finely shredded Parmesan cheese into the pot, tossing continuously until it melts into the pasta.
