For the Iced Latte
  • 1 cup milk of choice almond milk or any non-dairy/dairy milk
  • 1 cup cold brew or espresso
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • blender
  • tall glass

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by heating a medium saucepan over medium heat. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter (or coconut oil for a dairy-free option) until it’s bubbling. Slice one ripe banana into rounds and add them to the pan along with 1 tablespoon of coconut sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the bananas are golden brown and caramelized.
  2. Once the bananas are nicely caramelized, remove them from heat and allow them to cool slightly for about 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer the cooled caramelized bananas into a blender and add 1 cup of your milk of choice. Blend on high speed until creamy and smooth, about 30-45 seconds.
  4. While your banana milk is blending, grab a tall glass and fill it halfway with ice cubes.
  5. Pour 1 cup of cold brew or brewed espresso over the ice in your glass. Give it a gentle stir to mix.
  6. Slowly pour the creamy banana milk over the cold brew, allowing it to float on top.
  7. Your caramelized banana iced latte is ready to be enjoyed! Serve it immediately while the flavors are fresh and vibrant.
