Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your baking dish by lightly greasing it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared baking dish or loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce to prepare the glaze.
  5. Spread half of the glaze over the top of the shaped meatloaf, then bake for 45 minutes.
  6. After 45 minutes, brush the remaining glaze over the meatloaf and return it to the oven for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. After baking, let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
