Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; add ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes until no longer pink.
  3. Add finely chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté for 2–3 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and milk; add salt, black pepper, and paprika; thicken for 2 minutes.
  5. Spread the beef mixture in the baking dish and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  6. Prepare the biscuit mix with cold milk and spoon it over the cheese layer.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and brush melted butter mixed with garlic powder on top; let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
