  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries Provides main flavor; frozen can be used
  • 4 lemons Fresh Lemon Juice Juice from freshly squeezed lemons
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup Acts as a sweetener
Fizz
  • 3 cups Sparkling Water Adds effervescence
  • as needed Ice Cubes Essential for chilling
Garnish
  • as desired Fresh Mint Leaves Optional; adds aromatic note

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash 1 cup of fresh blueberries and muddle them in a large glass pitcher for 1-2 minutes until juices release.
  2. Squeeze juice from 4 fresh lemons into muddled blueberries, add 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup, and stir for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into another pitcher to filter out solids.
  4. Pour in 3 cups of chilled sparkling water and stir slowly.
  5. Fill glasses halfway with ice cubes and pour the bubbly blueberry-lemon mixture over it.
  6. Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves, additional blueberries, and a slice of lemon.
