Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Baklava Pistachio Cheesecake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine pistachio flour, softened butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until crumbly. Transfer to a greased springform pan and press down.
  3. Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool.
  4. Blend cream cheese until smooth in a large bowl. Gradually add sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and honey, mixing well.
  5. Once the crust has cooled, pour the cheesecake filling over it and spread evenly.
  6. Crumble baklava over the cheesecake filling and press down gently.
  7. Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until edges are set; center should have a slight jiggle.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool on a wire rack. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Slice with a warm knife and optionally drizzle honey or sprinkle crushed nuts before serving.
