For the Sweet Potato Fries
  • 2 large Sweet Potatoes Naturally sweet and packed with vitamins.
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch For extra crispiness; can be omitted.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper For a hint of heat.
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary Dried rosemary works too.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into fry shapes. Toss the cut fries in a bowl with cornstarch, cayenne pepper, fresh rosemary, and a pinch of salt. Spread the fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken drumsticks and sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat each drumstick in the seasoning mix and arrange on a separate baking sheet.
  3. Place the baking sheet with sweet potato fries in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. After the fries have baked for 20 minutes, add the chicken drumsticks to the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. Let the chicken and fries cool for a few minutes, then serve together on a platter.
